Davis Mountains, Far West Texas

From the high country of far West Texas, land and sky flow seamless into one another in an endless tapestry of light and shadow. This vantage point looking across the Davis Mountains is 6800 feet above sea level. Red volcanic rock cliffs and the blues, greens and golds of mature summer grass add rich color beneath a cloud-woven sky. This is the world I wake to most mornings.

This peaceful landscape invites endless hours of exploring and introspection, truly a painting to lose yourself in again and again. Every inch of this large oil offers details to explore at your leisure.

Framed in heavy expresso wood molding, the subtle antique gold highlights bring out the sun colors in this landscape. We frame to compliment the artwork rather than to match the couch. This focus on the art means that it will work with most any decor, whether traditional or contemporary.

The framed original Lindy Severns oil is shown hanging actual size on sample walls to help you visualize it in your home.
