    SPRING IN WEST TEXAS

unique hand-repainted fine art print, a one-of-a-kind Limited Original

    Artist Signature

custom printed giclee on fine art paper

after printing a single copy, I will meticulously paint on top of that print using color-rich soft pastels to add detail and rich color. This creative process makes every print a unique artwork, a remarque, an enhanced print, a limited edition original.

By painting out my original signature, then signing this finished artwork anew, I christen your remarque as a stand alone fine art creation made just for YOU. It's the closest thing to an original painting, at a fraction the cost.

We include an archival acid-free ivory mat and acid-free foam board backing to make this springtime landscape painting ready and affordable to frame. The frame is NOT INCLUDED, but you can click thru the image to see examples of this matted print in sample frames hanging actual size on walls.

10" x 8" art image ships matted to outer dimensions of 14" x 11" so it fits a ready made frame (remember, the frame is not included)

This print is almost the same size as the original painting and will not reproduce any larger.

A clear, resealable envelope protects your enhanced print until you frame it. Tthe ribbon-tied foam board case we package this painting in makes an elegant gift presentation.

    SPRING IN WEST TEXAS

This small, color-packed pastel landscape painting of a blooming yucca near our home in the remote Davis Mountains of Far West Texas shares an intimate moment in the high desert, a break in the day when the fragrance of lily-like blossoms fills your senses and the wind is merely a gentle rustle across the mountains. Thick grasses, still dormant, wave their ivory and golden and adobe colored heads as if welcoming the showy yucca stalk to the neighborhood in honor of spring's arrival.

    • Frame Tips

We strongly advise framing this remarque under UV protective glass or acrylic to preserve its deep colors.

A framer can easily add a colored mat and liner, should you wish. The existing ivory mat is acid-free, conservation grade.

Mats and frames can significantly increase the size of wall art. The molding you choose will determine the size of the finished footprint this print will make on your wall. To figure the framed outer dimensions of any art, double the width of the molding then add that figure to each dimension. ie. If you use a 2" wide molding, add 4" to the length of the matted print, and 4" to the width of the matted print.
