We custom print a painting image on fine art paper upon receiving your order. (Lindy's fine art prints don't just sit around stacked in a cabinet.)

Then Lindy uses rich pastel pigments or watercolor pencils to paint on top of the existing artwork. She even paints out her original signature, then signs it anew indicating that this enhanced print is a new artwork

Lindy's elegant remarques aren't numbered because each artwork is unique, and in much shorter supply than a numbered edition.

Matted in wide, heavy, acid-free ivory that will complement any decor, each print is also backed with acid-free foam board. That makes it ready to slip into a standard-sized frame. We strongly advise you to use UV protective glass, museum glass or museum acrylic over your remarque. It's worth preserving for generations!

A clear, resealable envelope protects your enhanced print until you frame it. A ribbon-tied foam board sandwich case adds further protection and makes an attractive gift presentation.

All Lindy Cook Severns remarques ship in fine art boxes via USPS Priority Mail. Allow 3-5 days production time from the time you place your order until it ships. Need it sooner? Speak up. Begging usually works.

Big Bend Artist

Old Spanish Trail Studio

Big Bend Artist Lindy Cook Severns, a seventh generation Texan,  paints real places in the wild American west, the high desert ranch lands of Far West Texas and Big Bend country.  Lindy's paintings hang in most every state in the USA, and in collections in England, Australia, Germany and Canada.  The pastel landscape artist | oil painter is among 35 artists selected for inclusion in the definitive book TEXAS TRADITIONS, CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS OF THE LONE STAR STATE, Michael Duty and Susan Hallsten McGarry, 2010.

Featured in the national 2016 PBS documentary WESTERN PERSPECTIVE, the southwest landscape painter lives on a working ranch in the Davis Mountains near Ft Davis and Marfa with husband Jim, a stubbornly affectionate rescued terrier and a cranky African Grey parrot who passionately loves art.  Her studio sits across the road from Old Spanish Trail Gallery and Museum, where Lindy is the Artist-In-Residence.
