Upon receiving your order, we print a 12" x 18" giclee on fine art paper. Using high quality inks, we reproduce the artwork you've chosen in lasting color. Then comes the magic:  With pastel pencils, hard pastels or watercolor pencils, Lindy meticulously paints on top of that print. There's no mass-production, no template: The artist creates a remarque, a stand-alone new artwork.

Enhancing a print is significantly more involved than highlighting. Repainting a print brings out detail. Lindy adds subtle new elements to every remarque:  a flower, a branch, a cloud. Color nuances lost in the printing process are regained. A Lindy Severns remarque is a Limited Original, so newLindy paints out her original signature, then signs the painting just for YOU.

Lindy elegantly mats her remarques  in heavy, conservation ivory, a single warm neutral mat that complements all artwork, all decor.

These 12" x 18" enhanced giclees are matted in a 3" mat to outer dimensions of 18" x 24" to fit a standard-sized readymade frame.

Should you wish to custom mat your remarque and frame it in a wide moulding, you can increase the space it will fill on your wall by several inches.

A framer can easily replace this mat with a wider double or triple mat in colors you choose, but we only stock ivory in standard sizes.

This is the largest print we offer. Not all art will reproduce this size.  We try to list all art in the largest format we can reproduce it in, but if you don't see it here, it won't hurt to ask if Lindy can print it this size.  Email for help figuring possible framing dimensions for your own situation, or see our FAQ .

Domestic shipping in a nifty secure fine art box via USPS Priority Mail is free, even to multiple locations. We include insurance that no one has ever needed.

An acid-free foam board backing protects your fine art remarque. This also makes framing easy. A clear, resealable bag and ribbon-tied foam board case decorated with more Lindy art add security and make an intriguing gift presentation.
