Inspired by a tiny black and white snapshot from my grandmother's album, circa 1927, here three generations of beauties share a summer moment in a cold Texas stream. It's a scene that most anyone can relate to-- languid shade beneath willows, splashes from the little girl, with gently flowing water. The flirtatious young mother in red offers a smile as the photographer intrudes briefly on the ladies' time out for summer play.
This richly colored original watercolor painting measures 9" x 12" on heavy, acid-free paper and is matted in white acid free board and framed under non-reflective museum glass.
